JOB SUMMARY The Manager of Clinical Engineering provides hands on leadership for the Biomedical Services department, combining technical expertise with administrative oversight to ensure safe, reliable patient care technology. This role leads while maintaining active technical involvement in the daily operations of a team of Biomedical Technicians and collaborates across departments to ensure compliance with all applicable regulatory standards. The Manager champions a "right the first time" culture, continuous improvement, and a strong focus on safety. JOB DETAILS AND REQUIREMENTS Type: Full-time, Salaried position, Benefit eligible Education: - Associate's degree (or two-year technical degree) in Biomedical Equipment Technology, Electronics, Clinical Engineering, or a closely related field or; - Completion of formal military biomedical equipment technician (BMET) training combined with substantial applicable technical experience- required - Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Healthcare Technology Management, or a related field- preferred Certification & Licensures: - One of the following certifications: Certified Healthcare Technology Manager (CHTM), Certified Biomedical Equipment Technician (CBET), or Certified Clinical Engineer (CCE)- required
