Responsibilities

Requirements
- Assess engineering apprenticeship standards, including Machining, Mechatronics, and Engineering Technician , ensuring learners meet required competencies and industry standards.
- Utilise Smart Assessor to effectively track progress, upload portfolios, and maintain accurate learner records in line with awarding body and compliance requirements.
- Hold a relevant engineering qualification (Level 3 or above) , demonstrating strong technical knowledge across engineering disciplines.
- Possess a recognised assessor qualification (essential) , ensuring high-quality and compliant assessment practice.
- Demonstrate strong communication and organisational skills , enabling effective planning, feedback delivery, and documentation management.
- Build and maintain positive, professional relationships with learners and employers , supporting engagement and successful programme outcomes.
- Adopt a proactive and supportive approach to learner development , providing guidance, coaching, and constructive feedback to help individuals achieve their full potential.
- Hold a full driving licence with willingness to travel , supporting on-site workplace assessments and employer visits.
