Role Summary As a Embedded Linux Performance Engineer, you will drive Linux adaptation and performance optimization for next-generation SoCs in smart vehicle platforms. You will analyze system-level performance, optimize ARM CPU and kernel behavior, and ensure that Linux and the SoC achieve maximum efficiency and stability.

Responsibilities

  • Adapt the Linux kernel to the company's SoC and ARM architecture, ensuring smooth integration and system stability
  • Perform in-depth optimization of ARM CPU performance and system-level scheduling
  • Lead SoC system performance analysis, designing and implementing Linux system performance solutions
  • Conduct benchmarking and optimization of the kernel compilation toolchain and related workflows
  • Collaborate with hardware and software teams to identify performance bottlenecks and quantify improvements
  • How You Will Stand Out
  • Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, or related fields
  • More than 5 years of experience in Linux system performance optimization or SoC performance analysis
  • Strong understanding of Linux kernel subsystems and experience with performance tools such as perf, ftrace, etc.
  • Proficient in ARMv8/ARMv9 architectures, familiar with Cortex-A series microarchitecture (e.g., A76/A78/A720)
  • Knowledgeable about chip bus protocols (AXI/ACE), cache coherence, and memory subsystems
  • Skilled in C/C++ programming and able to develop Python/Bash scripts for automation and analysis
  • Ability to decompose complex system problems and measure performance gains through data-driven benchmarking
