Responsibilities

  • Transports medications, specimens, blood products, films and any other item that needs to be delivered to authorized personnel.
  • Travels to and from delivery site(s) on foot or by vehicle as assigned. Delivers supplies, medications, blood, specimens, documents, films and equipment to customers.

Position Status: Part time Shift: First Shift (Days - Less than 12 hours per shift) (United States of America) Hours per week: 20 Job Information Exemption Status: Non-Exempt A Brief Overview The Transportation Technician must demonstrate the ability and be willing to perform a minimum of 2 of the functions in the Transportation Department. These include Courier, Mail Processing and Delivery and Dispatching. Transportation Technicians are scheduled as required to meet the needs of Stormont-Vail and are cross-trained. Technicians must interact with internal customers on a frequent basis, using tact and diplomacy while communicating clearly and accurately. Education Qualifications High School Diploma / GED Preferred Licenses and Certifications Drivers License - DMV Current Valid Driver's License and Clean MVR with 3-year baseline and annual MVR review.
