Responsibilities

  • A degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Desirable
  • MRICS accreditation.
  • Previous experience within the utilities, energy or transmission sectors.
  • Experience working on major infrastructure or capital projects.
  • Minimum Criteria
  • A degree in Quantity Surveying, or equivalent significant experience undertaking Quantity Surveying activities within a construction or engineering environment.

To support this ambitious programme, we're looking for two experienced Quantity Surveyors to join our Transmission business. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in delivering a significant portfolio of overhead line and substation projects across Central and Southern Scotland, helping to connect renewable energy and strengthen the UK's critical infrastructure. As a Quantity Surveyor, you'll provide commercial leadership across projects from tender stage through to final account, ensuring robust cost management, contractual compliance, and successful project delivery under NEC4 contracts. You'll work closely with project teams, contractors and stakeholders, contributing directly to some of Scotland's most strategically important energy projects.
