About the role
We are seeking a highly driven Partnerships Manager to lead strategic partnership development for our Credit Card business. This role will focus on identifying, acquiring, and managing strategic partners, merchants, platforms and ecosystem partners to drive B2B2C user growth. The ideal candidate has strong experience in card partnerships, fintech, payments, banking, loyalty programs, merchant acquisition, or business development, with an established network across the Singapore and regional market.
Responsibilities
- Partnership Development
- Identify, develop, and manage strategic and brand partnerships to drive cardholder acquisition and card usage growth
- Build relationships with merchants, enterprises, platforms, fintech companies, financial institutions, associations, and ecosystem partners.
- Develop partnership strategies aligned with the company's growth objectives.
- Co-Marketing Programs
- Lead the end-to-end development of joint marketing efforts with partners and brands.
- Structure commercial agreements, business models, and partnership frameworks.
- Work with partners to design customer acquisition, rewards, loyalty, and engagement programs.
- Manage partnership performance and growth initiatives post-launch.
- Merchant & Ecosystem Expansion
- Establish partnerships with key merchant groups across: E-commerce, Travel, Lifestyle, Retail, Hospitality, Education, SME and Enterprise Ecosystems
- Explore innovative distribution channels to expand cardholder acquisition.
- Cross-functional Collaboration
- Work closely with internal stakeholders such as Product, Marketing, Operations, Risk, Compliance, and Technology teams to launch partnership initiatives.
- Coordinate onboarding, implementation, and operational readiness for new partners.
- Ensure partnership activities comply with regulatory and internal requirements.
- Commercial & Performance Management
- Own partnership revenue and growth targets.
- Monitor key metrics including new card applications through B2B2C collaborations, Increased penetration of DCS card users through marketing collaborations, Activated cardholders, Card spending volume, Partner-driven revenue, Customer acquisition cost
- Prepare regular business reviews and partnership performance reports.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Partnership Development, Business Development, Strategic Alliances, Merchant Acquisition, Credit Cards, Payments & FinTech Banking
- Proven track record of building and managing commercial partnerships.
- Industry Knowledge
- Strong understanding of Credit Card Issuing, Joint Marketing Initiatives Loyalty & Rewards Ecosystems, Merchant Partnerships, B2B2C Business Models, Payments and Financial Services
- Strong negotiation and commercial structuring skills.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication abilities.
