You must have at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector: Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: ???????- Identifies a need for and knows where or how to gather information; organizes and maintains information or information management systems. Determines its importance and accuracy, and communicates it by a variety of methods. - Applies principles, methods, tools for developing, scheduling, coordinating, monitoring, evaluating, and managing projects and resources, including technical performance. - Apply knowledge of an array of laws, rules, and regulations (National Environmental Policy Act, Endangered Species Act, Clean Air Act, Resource Conservation and Recovery Act, Safe Drinking Water Act, etc.) designed to protect natural resources. - Apply knowledge of a wide range of principles, concepts, practices, and methods of ecology, wildlife biology, fisheries biology, plant and soil sciences to develop, conduct, and evaluate ecosystem management studies; analyze ecological, botanical, and faunal issues and problems related to ecosystems; provide technical solutions to complex habitat management programs; adapt, develop, or modify ecological techniques and procedures; devise new strategies, restoration, or management plans for ecosystems; and prepare technical or scientific reports of findings and recommendations.
