The Challenge This is a hands-on role which builds automation scripts for long term product scalability and stability. In this role, the resource is closely working with the product team to understand the functionality being developed and writes robust automation scripts and performance scripts to meet the acceptance criteria. As the resource matures in understanding the breadth and depth of product functionality, the resource should be able to bring in critical thinking to ask the "what if" questions to strengthen the tests. The role evaluates continuous improvement by improving the effectiveness of the automated tests This role understands customer use cases and usage models in production to begin incorporating the right tests in the release pipeline This role begins to understand the dependency models and makes informed decisions to test intelligently This role begins active engagement in a devops mindset toward rapid deployments and anchors the product scrum team to meet quality deliverables Your Mission Convert manual test cases into automated tests and maintain the test suite in Cypress Execute tests continuously and evaluate build quality Identify defects, raise issues, and work with teams to resolve them Collaborate across Dev, QA, Architect and Ops to improve quality and close gaps Build and maintain scalable, efficient, and reliable automation frameworks Expand automation coverage and enable shift-left testing Generate reports, insights, and feedback for product teams Troubleshoot issues across test scripts, environments, and production Continuously improve test reliability, reduce noise, and optimize execution time Stay current with tools, technologies, and best practices Participate in agile ceremonies (scrums, demos, retros) Assist in executing manual tests for development features You will perform testing activities on the marketing websites You Are Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical or business field 2+ years of hands-on experience in Cypress automation testing, including E2E test development and CI/CD integration Hands-on with automation tools (Cypress, Selenium) and API testing (Postman, REST Assured) Skilled with tools like Jira, GitLab, Confluence A self-driven, fast learner who works independently Productive quickly and able to contribute within the first month A strong collaborator and clear communicator Detail-oriented with a focus on high-quality outcomes Analytical, with strong problem-solving and root cause skills A team player who proactively identifies and resolves issues Comfortable working in Agile and DevOps environments Able to troubleshoot using logs and system insights High energy, reliable, and continuously looking to improve Experience working with distributed/global teams Extra Awesome Experience with Java, OOP principles, and TDD frameworks (JUnit, TestNG, etc.) Experience with CI/CD pipelines and continuous testing environments Familiar with performance testing, load testing, and system monitoring (e.g., Kibana) Experience with database testing (SQL/NoSQL) Skilled with tools like QTest Passion for innovation, experimentation, and modern engineering practices Where we Work We are embracing an office-first culture, encouraging three days a week in office for most roles, with meaningful opportunities to collaborate and celebrate in person.
