About the role

Job Description Responsible for full set of accounts, ensuring accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year end closing Handle AP functions - manage payment processing of suppliers, 3rd party and inter-company invoices/billings Handle AR functions - billings, issue statement of accounts and credit notes, maintain project contracts Prepare month end journals, input journal entries into QuickBooks Maintain and reconcile fixed asset sub-ledger to general ledger Prepare and file GST returns Ensure financial records are maintained in compliance with accepted policies and procedures Ensure all financial reporting deadlines are met Prepare financial management reports Establish and monitor the implementation and maintenance of accounting control procedures Financial audit preparation and coordinate the audit process Work closely with other functional teams to resolve any financial and accounting issues that impact the set of books Other ad-hoc duties required Job Requirement Degree in Accountancy or relevant such as ACCA At least 3 years of experience in managing full set of accounts, general ledger and book-keeping Hands on experience with QuickBooks preferred Meticulous with strong analytical and problem-solving skills Mature, responsible and able to work independently with minimal supervision Proficient in the use of Microsoft skills, especially Excel
