TT Quality Technician will: Be responsible for a multitude of roles within the final finish and support areas. This role will require the ability to do the following functions: Warranty and general investigation work, Sectioning and analysis of cut tire sections, Over-inspection of 100% inspection product, Dock release prior to shipment. QA Technician will be responsible for the following: Able to classify and inspect tires according to QMD standards. Notify appropriate personnel of scrap tires passed by 100% inspectors. Perform dock audits on all OE tread codes. Will be cross trained to perform all QA technician inspection jobs. (Over-inspection, Tire Cutting, CTD checks, first tire checks, Audits, CS1) Perform First Tire Check to verify that mold is up to specifications, and all information on the tire is legible and correct to specification. Perform dirty mold audits-serial checks. Responsible for following all plant rules, and departmental safety policies, environmental policies, and chemical handling procedures, including being familiar with Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS). QA Technician will follow standard practice for this specific job and perform all work necessary to obtain quality production Perform other duties as directed by the Chief Inspector or QA Manager. Ensure all ESH procedures, policies and legal requirements are implemented and monitored. NOTE: May not be inclusive of all work required and may be updated as needed.
