Job Description: Strategic & Editorial Content (SEC) is TD Wealth's content centre of excellence, responsible for delivering best-in-class editorial and insight content that showcases the depth and breadth of TD Wealth's expertise to clients, advisors, and the broader market. SEC produces high-impact digital, live, broadcast, and social content across flagship platforms including MoneyTalk (MoneyTalkGo.com), MoneyTalk Live on TD WebBroker, MoneyTalk on BNN Bloomberg, radio, and social channels. Role Summary The AVP Editorial, Strategic and Editorial Content is the senior editorial authority for TD Wealth's Strategic & Editorial Content (SEC) function. This role sets and governs editorial vision, standards, quality, and thought leadership across all insight content-ensuring clarity, consistency, credibility, and impact across platforms, lines of business, and audiences. The AVP is a hands-on team leader responsible for building and executing TD Wealth's editorial and thought-leadership agenda, working in close partnership across Wealth, SEC, Marketing, and Enterprise teams to drive engagement, trust, and growth. Key Accountabilities Editorial Strategy & Leadership Define and lead TD Wealth's editorial and thought-leadership vision across all formats. Identify, develop, and amplify client-focused thought leadership across TD Wealth and TD. Translate Wealth priorities into clear, compelling narratives and storylines. Ensure editorial consistency across Advice, DI, TDAM, WPO, WIO and Enterprise content Develop, manage and execute on key strategic initiatives to drive measurable outcomes Find, nurture and develop client-focussed thought leadership across TD Wealth and TD Editorial Governance & Risk Oversight Serve as the final editorial authority on tone, framing, messaging, and risk-sensitive content. Establish and enforce editorial standards, approval pathways, and escalation protocols. Partner closely with Legal, Compliance, Risk, and Brand to meet all enterprise and regulatory requirements. Editorial Operations Oversee real-time editorial intake, prioritization, and planning across short- and long-term horizons. Balance real-time responsiveness with strategic storytelling. Embed editorial best practices and data-driven decision-making across teams and workflows. Leadership & Capability Building Lead, mentor, and develop editorial team Build strong editorial judgment, rigor, and confidence across the organization. Foster a culture of editorial excellence, accountability, and collaboration. Seek out and implement new capabilities to power editorial team Executive & Stakeholder Partnership Act as a trusted editorial advisor to senior leaders on messaging and narrative strategy. Represent SEC editorial leadership in Wealth and Enterprise forums. Partner with business leaders to deliver measurable value while maintaining editorial independence.
