Senior Accounting Officer

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CPA, CA) is an advantage.
• Minimum 3-5 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in a senior accounting role.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and tax regulations.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with ERP systems is an advantage.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Additional Information

Job Description Manage the full set of accounts, including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), General Ledger (GL), and bank reconciliations. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports. Ensure timely and accurate month-end and year-end closing activities. Monitor cash flow and assist in budgeting and forecasting processes. Handle tax filings, GST/VAT submissions, and statutory compliance requirements. Coordinate with auditors, tax agents, banks, and regulatory authorities. Review accounting transactions and ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies. Maintain and improve accounting procedures and internal controls. Support financial analysis and provide recommendations to management. Supervise and guide junior accounting staff where applicable.
