We won't pretend like it's for everyone but if you're a builder who loves solving tough problems, you'll feel right at home. 👩💻The role We're looking for a detail-oriented and highly analytical Lead, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) to join the Finance team at Headout in Bengaluru. In this role, you'll play a critical part in driving financial visibility, business performance tracking, and strategic decision-making across the organization. You'll own core FP&A processes including MIS reporting, budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and cost optimization initiatives. You'll also partner closely with cross-functional teams to improve financial processes, enhance reporting automation, and generate actionable insights that influence business decisions at scale. This role is based in Bengaluru, so we are seeking candidates who are either local or open to relocating to the city. 🤩What makes this role special? Visibility. You'll work closely with leadership teams and business stakeholders, helping shape strategic decisions through financial insights and performance tracking. Ownership. From budgeting and forecasting to business analysis and reporting automation, you'll own critical finance workflows end-to-end and directly influence business outcomes. Business Impact. Cross-Team Collaboration . You'll partner with teams across the organization to solve complex operational and financial challenges while building scalable finance processes. Process Improvement. You'll continuously identify ways to streamline reporting, automate workflows, and improve the overall efficiency and quality of finance operations. Exposure to Modern Tools. You'll work with AI-powered tools, automation platforms, and advanced reporting frameworks to build smarter and more scalable finance systems. 💝What skills & experience do you need? You're An Owner. You take complete ownership of financial planning processes, ensuring reports, forecasts, and analyses are not just accurate, but meaningful and actionable. You're comfortable managing multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail. You're Analytical. Numbers tell stories, and you know how to interpret them. Whether it's variance analysis, budgeting, forecasting, or performance tracking, you use data to drive clarity and business decisions. You have strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate numbers into actionable insights. You're Tech-Savvy. You're comfortable working with AI-powered tools and modern technologies to improve workflows and efficiency. You have excellent proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets, and familiarity with SQL or automation tools is a strong advantage. You're A Builder. You constantly look for ways to improve processes, automate repetitive tasks, and create scalable reporting frameworks. You enjoy bringing structure and efficiency into fast-moving environments. You're Adaptable. You thrive in dynamic, high-growth environments and are excited by ambiguity, ownership, and continuous learning. You collaborate effectively across teams and communicate financial insights with clarity and confidence. You're Qualified. You're a Chartered Accountant with 0-2 years of relevant experience in Financial Planning & Analysis, business finance, or related finance functions. ➕Bonus Articleship experience with a Big Four firm or prior experience in a high-growth startup environment is a major plus.
