The PR Specialist at ESET plays an important role in upholding and promoting the company's positive image. This includes engaging in media relations, crafting public-facing materials such as press releases and articles. FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES - Ensure a unified brand voice, while fostering an active social media community. - Adapt and translate global social media posts and PR content for local markets. - Work with external agencies to create content, providing necessary information and materials to achieve PR objectives. - Define target audiences for each social media channel in collaboration with other teams. - Implement global social media strategies locally, and develop weekly content calendars for B2B and B2C audiences in cooperation with marketing teams. - Establish social media activity plans. - Create and publish original written and audio-visual content across all relevant social media and content platforms. - Manage community interactions by monitoring comments, responding to simple inquiries, and directing complex questions to ESET Support. - Engage with the online community by developing content and storytelling activities to activate friends, fans, and followers on ESET's social platforms. - Conduct monthly monitoring of brand mentions, hashtags, keywords, and searches using digital analytics and media tracking tools, and document social media activities. - Analyze marketing data, adjust strategies accordingly, and report results to senior management. - Oversee communication with influencers and bloggers as part of ESET's outreach efforts. - Collaborate in creating storyboards for audio and video productions. - Design and execute social media campaigns with researched content, appropriate hashtags, and imagery to enhance social engagement and online presence. - Apply SEO techniques to all written content to boost engagement and web visibility. - Collaborate with internal teams to support their goals and maintain a consistent brand voice, while nurturing an engaged media community. - Adapt and translate global PR materials like press releases, articles, and interviews. - Partner with external agencies to create content and provide necessary information to ensure successful PR outcomes. - Research and develop content for media, blogs, and social media in collaboration with local and global marketing teams. - Cultivate and sustain relationships with journalists, press, and public affairs entities, and represent the company at relevant events and conferences. - Conduct monthly monitoring of brand mentions, hashtags, keywords, and searches using digital analytics and media tracking tools, and document social media activities. - Organize and coordinate PR projects and events, such as press tours and roundtables. - Engage in rapid response and crisis communication efforts. - Carry out other work according to the instructions of a managing employee in accordance with the activity of the department and the company.

Requirements

  • Education:
  • Master's degree
  • Security technology experience is a plus
  • Years of work experience: 3 years in a PR on company side (or agency) or from media
  • Experience in copy and content writing
  • Experience of proof reading
  • Experience in working with external agencies
  • Knowledge:
  • Understanding of cybersecurity
  • Ability to digest and interpret technical material
  • Well-developed interpersonal and organizational skills
  • MS Office: advanced
  • Experience in social media management monitoring
