Manager Operation Digitalization

About the role

We are seeking a dynamic and forward-thinking Manager Operation Digitalization to join our BA SSL central team of Manufacturing Process & Equipment Engineering in Changzhou, China. In this pivotal role, you will develop and lead our organization's digital transformation initiatives, driving operational excellence through innovative technologies and data-driven strategies. Develop and implement BA specific digital transformation strategies and roadmaps to optimize manufacturing operations and supply chain processes Main contact person for the respective project teams Analyze complex operational data to identify improvement opportunities Oversee the integration of Industry 4.0 technologies, including IoT, AI, and machine learning, into existing operational processes Collaborate with BA operations team, CT Group Sector and local teams to ensure seamless implementation of digital solutions Plan, coordinate, support and foster local digital realization projects Drive change management initiatives to facilitate smooth adoption of new digital processes and tools Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of digitalization efforts and report on progress to senior leadership Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends to maintain the organization's competitive edge in the digital landscape Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Automation, Engineering or related field; Master's degree preferred 5+ years of experience in Operations, Production, Automation or Engineering, with at least 2 years focused on digital or automation projects Strong knowledge of digital transformation strategies, Industry 4.0 concepts and their application in manufacturing environments Proven track record in successfully implementing digitalization initiatives Expertise in data analysis, visualization, and using business intelligence tools to drive operational improvements Proficiency in project management and change management techniques Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), SAP, MSB, MDA/PDA Experience with other digital tools and platforms like Grafana, InfluxDB, Nodered beneficial Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate cross-functional teams Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail Excellent communication and presentation skills in English; proficiency in Mandarin Chinese highly desirable Willingness to travel globally as required Ready to drive with Continental?
