Job Summary Responsible for supporting both pre-sales and post-sales activities including customer demonstrations, material evaluation, on-site installation, servicing and repair of complex equipment and systems for all products and markets. Works on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors. Exercises judgment within generally defined practices and policies in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions. Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities Checks out and approves operational quality of system equipment. Instructs customers in the operation and maintenance of the system. Serves as company liaison with customers on administrative and technical matters for assigned projects. Travel away from workplace may be up to 75%. When not traveling may be called upon to participate in 24/7 phone support. May be assigned to specific customer accounts as the primary technical support contact. Plans and conducts work requiring judgment in the independent evaluation, selection and substantial adaptation and modification of standard techniques, procedures and criteria. Devises new approaches to problems encountered. Other duties may be assigned as required. Education and Experience Requirements Requires a BS degree or equivalent experience plus 4 - 7 years of experience or equivalent relevant experience. Exposure to the printed circuit board and semiconductor packaging industries Ability to travel up to 75% of the time; both domestic and internationally Preferred Skills and Abilities Highly motivated and self managing Analytical thinker with great troubleshooting skills Strong customer communication skills Working Conditions and Physical Demands Office environment.
