Responsibilities
- Review and revise the Safety Management System to drive continual improvement and compliance.

- Monitor and enhance the company's BizSafe certification, safety management system, safety manual, and client safety procedures.
- Conduct investigations into WSH infringements and industrial accidents, recommending remedial actions to prevent recurrence.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of corrective actions implemented to address safety issues.
- Manage all incident reporting and investigations to ensure compliance with legal requirements.
- Facilitate and conduct internal audits to ensure ongoing compliance with BizSafe standards.
- Lead emergency response efforts, manage project safety personnel, and oversee site WSH matters for the company and subcontractors.
- Supervise and provide operational guidance to security personnel to maintain site safety and security.
- Train and guide the Site Emergency Response Team (SERT) and organize emergency drills to ensure preparedness.
- Oversee the management and maintenance of the company's fire alarm and protection systems.
- Regularly audit equipment, machinery, and assets to ensure they are in safe working condition and equipped with necessary safety protections.
- Assess and analyze risks associated with new or second-hand equipment and machinery purchases, providing safety recommendations.
- Implement safety campaigns to promote and embed a strong safety culture across the organization.
- Liaise with MOM, NEA, PUB, and other relevant authorities on all WSH matters to ensure regulatory compliance.
- Perform any other duties as assigned to support workplace safety and health objectives.
- Required competencies and certifications
- MOM registered Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) Officer
- MOM registered Fire Safety Manager
- Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience in occupational health and safety or related fields
- Minimum second-class honours degree in Occupational Health, Safety, Engineering, or a relevant discipline
