Urgent !!! Senior Electrical Engineer (SLD, Electrical Design, M&E)

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical design works including voltage drop and short circuit calculations, SLD preparation, schematic drawings, and technical documentation
• Coordinate and oversee site installation, testing, and commissioning activities
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, project specifications, and quality standards
• Liaise with consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and other engineering disciplines (ACMV, BMS, etc.) to resolve technical issues
• Conduct site inspections and review method statements and risk assessments
• Ensure all works are carried out in accordance with approved designs and specifications
• Support BIM-related activities (added advantage)
• Undertake any other duties as assigned by the line manager

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline
• Proven experience in electrical design and project execution
• Strong knowledge of electrical calculations (voltage drop, short circuit current), SLD preparation, and schematic drawings
• Hands-on experience in site installation, testing, commissioning, and project coordination
• Good understanding of safety regulations and project compliance requirements
• Able to liaise effectively with consultants, contractors, and cross-functional engineering teams
• Experience conducting site inspections and reviewing method statements and risk assessments
• BIM knowledge is an added advantage
• Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills
• Able to work independently and manage multiple tasks concurrently
• A collaborative team player with strong attention to detail
