Sport Program Assistant

Responsibilities

• Making MLSE LaunchPad the best place it can be
• Fostering a culture of warmth, acceptance and fun at MLSE LaunchPad while ensuring adherence to expectations, and that respect and kindness are prioritized.
• Supporting with the set-up and execution of in-person MLSE LaunchPad Sport For Development programs
• Prioritizing safety and FUN
• Making sure that all of our youth are physically and mentally safe while participating in programming and that FUN is always top of mind.
• Participating in special projects and other related duties as required

• You have familiarity delivering youth sport programming
• Background and knowledge in children and youth sport, recreation, and/or physical activity programs is considered an asset. HIGH FIVE training, NCCP Certifications, Mental Health First Aid, sport specific coaching certifications and experience - we're here for all of those!
• You have or are willing to get Standard First Aid and CPR certifications .
