This experience may include all of the following: Independently preparing general correspondence, entering time and attendance records in an automated payroll system Providing assistance in the completion of records review, inventories, and dispositions in accordance with records schedule Broad working knowledge of the functions related to budget and finance, natural resources, travel, timekeeping/payroll, correspondence, records, collections, and public contact. To qualify for the GS-07: You must possess at least one or more years of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-06 level in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience is experience that equips the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities needed to perform the duties of this position. This experience may include all of the following: Performing complex administrative support with general correspondence, entering time and attendance records into an automated payroll system Advising in the completion of records review, inventories, and dispositions in accordance with records schedule Ability to perform independent judgement to the following functions in budget and finance, natural resources, travel, timekeeping/payroll, correspondence, records, collections, and public contact. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social).
