Responsibilities

  • Build prototypes, test stands, wiring harnesses, subassemblies, and tubing assemblies; perform soldering and execute test procedures.

  • Education and Experience
  • Associate degree (AS) in Engineering or a related technology field, with 2+ years of experience in an electromechanical device development environment.
  • Required Qualifications
  • Strong critical-thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently while seeking input or assistance when needed.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, and Outlook) for documentation and data collection.
  • Ability to read and interpret work orders, schematics, and CAD drawings.
  • Experience using hand and power tools, including work involving component modification and assembly.

Requirements

  • Experience with light machining equipment, including drill presses, milling machines, and band saws.
  • Experience using JIRA or similar task-tracking and workflow management tools.
  • Experience with SolidWorks or other CAD software.

Technician Associate - Device Test and Reliability Team Our Device Test and Reliability Team, located in Durham, North Carolina, is seeking a Technician Associate. This position will provide support to VMRD Engineering by building, testing, and updating devices under development at Zoetis.
