About the role

SuperDial is hiring a People & Talent Operations Coordinator to support our team across the full employee lifecycle, from candidate experience and onboarding to engagement, internal communications, culture programs, development, and offboarding. This role reports to the Vice President of People and is based in our New York City office Monday through Thursday, with remote work on Fridays. This is a hands-on role for someone who is organized, service-minded, and energized by building structure in a fast-moving environment. You will help make People and Talent workflows more consistent, thoughtful, and scalable as SuperDial grows across our New York and Burlingame offices. We are looking for someone who brings a high-touch, high-standards, high-trust approach to the work. That means clear communication, careful execution, strong follow-through, good judgment, and warmth that never comes at the expense of accountability. This is also a visible, people-facing role. You should be comfortable being "on stage" in employee- and candidate-facing moments, whether you are welcoming a new hire, coordinating a team experience, supporting a manager, partnering with a vendor, or communicating important details clearly and professionally. For someone early in their People career, this is a strong opportunity to learn quickly, receive direct coaching, and earn increasing ownership through excellent execution.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate interviews, candidate communication, interviewer scheduling, follow-ups, and ATS updates.
  • Support onboarding from offer acceptance through the first week, including pre-start communication, equipment tracking, systems access, calendar invites, and manager readiness.
  • Help optimize Rippling workflows for onboarding and offboarding so core People processes become more automated, accurate, and scalable.
  • Maintain employee data, People documentation, checklists, templates, trackers, and process materials.
  • Help create a consistent employee experience across our New York and Burlingame offices.
  • Serve as an active member of SuperDial's culture committee and support meaningful programs, rituals, recognition moments, and team experiences.
  • Support People initiatives across engagement, performance, manager enablement, internal communications, and development.
  • Manage offboarding steps with accuracy, discretion, and timely cross-functional coordination.
  • Use AI, Google Workspace, Ashby, Rippling, Slack, and other tools to improve speed, quality, and organization.
  • Track details, surface risks early, and make sure important follow-ups do not fall through the cracks.
  • What Success Looks Like
  • Within the first 3 months, you will:
  • Run a high-touch onboarding rhythm that gives every new hire and manager a clear, organized first-week experience.
  • Improve recruiting coordination cycle time while keeping candidates informed, interviewers prepared, and Ashby accurate.
  • Build reliable trackers for onboarding, offboarding, employee data, and recurring People workflows.
  • Improve Rippling onboarding and offboarding workflows by automating manual steps and reducing avoidable follow-up.
  • Help launch SuperDial's culture committee and early employee experience programs aligned to our values.
  • Improve at least two recurring People processes without lowering the quality bar.
  • Create leverage for the VP of People by owning details, surfacing risks early, following through, and earning trust quickly.

Requirements

  • 1+ year of experience in a people-facing, service-oriented role, such as People Operations, HR, employee experience, recruiting coordination, talent operations, office operations, hospitality, healthcare administration, or an administrative role in a fast-moving company.
  • Strong organization, attention to detail, and follow-through.
  • Clear written and verbal communication.
  • Sound judgment and discretion with employee and candidate information.
  • A systems-builder mindset and interest in improving how work gets done.
  • Professionalism, warmth, and confidence representing the People team in employee- and candidate-facing moments.
  • Comfort working in a fast-moving environment where priorities can shift.
  • Interest in building culture, engagement, recognition, and rewarding team experiences.
  • Comfort using AI tools, Google Workspace, and modern workplace systems.
