ACCIONA Construction USA, part of the SR 400 Peach Partners consortium, have been awarded the contract to design and construct the SR 400 Express Lanes project in Atlanta, Georgia. This $4.6 billion project, awarded by the Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT), is a key public-private partnership aimed at addressing congestion on a major highway in the Atlanta metropolitan area. The Fleet Coordinator supports the daily operation and control of the company-owned fleet of vehicles and equipment on the SR400 project. This is an administrative and operational role focused on keeping vehicles and equipment available, compliant, well maintained, and correctly charged to the right cost codes. Job Description Coordinate preventive maintenance, service, and repairs for owned vehicles and equipment, and track that all work is completed on time by internal staff or external vendors. Maintain accurate records for each unit, including maintenance history, inspections, hours/mileage, and utilization. Track and manage vehicle and equipment titles, Manufacturer Certificate of Origin (MCO), annual registration renewals, and cancellations. Support the transfer of equipment and tools between the yard, the project, and other locations, and keep the tracking updated. Ensure compliance with DOT, safety, and local regulations, and keep insurance cards, decals, and licensing current. Review and process invoices for maintenance, parts, and services, making sure costs are allocated to the correct cost codes and approved for payment. Create and issue purchase documents, follow up on orders, and confirm the receipt of equipment and the accuracy of invoices. Support the analysis of quotes, specifications, and rates for new fleet additions and for disposals. Prepare simple reports on fleet status, availability, maintenance, and costs for the Equipment Manager and project team. Required Skills and Competencies High school diploma or equivalent. 2+ years of experience in fleet, equipment, or administrative support, preferably in construction. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Good written and verbal communication skills. Intermediate level of Microsoft Office (especially Excel). Valid driver's license.
