Strategic Finance Overview Within F&S, Corporate Strategy & Development (CS&D) and Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) together form "Strategic Finance." This team sits at the intersection of corporate strategy, financial analysis, and senior leadership decision-making, partnering closely with firm leadership on the most consequential priorities facing BlackRock. Strategic Finance is responsible for shaping the firm's long-term direction and financial performance, leading efforts across growth strategy, capital allocation and investment decision-making. The team delivers rigorous, insight-driven analysis on complex and often ambiguous problems, developing critical business metrics, evaluating cost and revenue drivers, and providing an integrated view of the firm's financial health. Strategic Finance plays a central role in budgeting and forecasting, enterprise planning, and high-impact initiatives - helping to define firmwide priorities, inform strategic decisions, and drive long-term value creation across global markets. The team is hiring for one of the following roles: Business Partnering You will sit at the intersection of finance, strategy and business leadership, acting as a trusted advisor to teams across the firm. In this role, you will drive decision-making through rigorous financial analysis, translating complex and often ambiguous business questions into structured insights that shape priorities and outcomes. You will lead core financial processes including budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning, while developing and analyzing key business metrics to assess performance, identify opportunities, and evaluate cost and revenue drivers. Working closely with senior stakeholders, you will play a critical role in informing growth strategy, capital allocation, and investment decisions, ensuring that financial insights are embedded into business decision-making and long-term value creation. As a business partner, you will: Support the development of business plans, budgets, forecasts and financials Perform financial, strategic, and performance analyses to evaluate drivers, risks and opportunities Work closely with FP&A, Controllers and COO teams to develop and leverage financials, forecasts and insights that underpin strategy and drive decision-making Strategy You will focus on shaping the firm's long‑term direction by addressing its most critical and high‑impact business questions. In this role, you will develop enterprise‑level strategy, evaluate growth opportunities, and drive initiatives that position the firm for sustainable, long‑term success. You will structure and solve complex strategic problems, conduct market and competitive analysis, and develop clear recommendations for senior leadership on topics such as growth strategy, market entry, and business prioritization. In parallel, you will support the execution of strategic priorities through activities such as evaluating and executing acquisitions, investments, partnerships, and divestitures.
