To support this mission, Syngenta's SE Production Operations Team is seeking a Maintenance Technician Sr in Waterloo, NE. This role will independently perform general and advanced maintenance on equipment and facility. Accountabilities: Perform preventative maintenance schedule of company equipment, including electrical, mechanical, control devices, instrumentation, welding, replacing motors, robotics repairs, etc., for the assigned site. Assist with coordinating equipment downtime to perform necessary repairs and maintenance in conjunction with the site leadership team. Lead, administer, and assign all site maintenance activities. Ensure equipment inspections are documented and completed as required during on/off peak seasons. Work cohesively with the maintenance team, site leadership team, and third-party personnel. Implement schedule of work orders to ensure prioritization and work completion. Own repair budget and support the repair calendar annually. Manage vendor relations with contractors, such as HVAC, electrical, and plumbing contractors. Ensure compliance of site-specific permits when maintenance work is required in key areas (hot work, work from heights). Establish site grounds program (snow removal, lawn care, irrigation) in conjunction with the site leadership team. Ensure accurate records of all maintenance activities, including work orders, repair logs, and parts inventory, within Asset Essentials. Develop a standardized approach for adjustments and calibration of equipment and machinery to optimal specifications and operation. Assist with developing a comprehensive reporting system to ensure PM data is collected and utilized to drive understanding of useful life of equipment (leverage system capabilities to support maintenance). Maintain compliance with site HSE protocols and Syngenta HSE policies and employee code of conduct. Act as a member of the Site Safety Committee. Other duties as assigned. Basic proficiency in CMMS software (Asset Essentials). Basic proficiency in Electrical, HVAC, Plumbing. Ability to prioritize work orders. Ability to work all seasons(indoors/outdoors) performing maintenance tasks. Ability to lift, push or pull 70 pounds. Proficient at preventative maintenance procedures. Ability to analyze technical problems. Proficient in troubleshooting and repairing equipment. Proficient of equipment and machine calibration. Intermediate experience with welding and fabrication. Valid Driver's License.
