Amazon Robotics is seeking a talented and motivated Mechatronics Engineering Manager to lead a multidisciplinary team of Mechatronics Engineers and Mechanical Engineers dedicated to designing, developing, and testing actuation solutions and next-generation robotic systems. In this role, you will own the full lifecycle of actuation and robotic hardware development-guiding your team as they create detailed design specifications and models, conduct simulations, and rigorously test and validate systems from concept through production readiness and scaled deployment. You will serve as a technical people leader, setting the standard for engineering excellence while fostering collaboration and high performance across mechanical and mechatronics disciplines. A critical part of your responsibility will be partnering closely with controls, electrical, and software engineering teams to deliver fully integrated actuation and robotic solutions that meet the demands of Amazon's robotics platforms operating at unprecedented scale across hundreds of fulfillment sites worldwide. The ideal candidate brings hands-on experience managing a diverse team focused on rotary actuation hardware design, electromechanical system integration, and robotic platform development, combined with practical knowledge of high-volume manufacturing methods and design-for manufacturability principles.
