WSH Coordinator

About the role

As a WSH Coordinator, you will assist the Project Manager in the daily operation of executing the company's safety regulations and practices in the workplaces.

Responsibilities

• Assist WSH Officer on safety and health matters.
• Execute appropriate safety measurements in accordance with the Workplace Safety & Health Act.
• Liaise closely with Project Managers, main contractors, contracts and authority, etc. on all safety and health issues.
• Assist in accident / incident reporting and investigations as well as hold toolbox meetings and all WSH matters execution.
• Perform daily inspection to ensure compliance to prevailing MOM regulations and Company Construction work policies.
• Coordinate and maintain records of safety orientation and daily toolbox meetings.
• Ensure safe work practices are adhered to by all parties in the daily site activities.
• Perform daily inspection to ensure compliance and inform Project Manager accordingly.
• Attend to all feedback on safety irregularities and inform the WSH Officer accordingly.
• Ensure all safety legislation and in-house safety rules and regulations.
• Ensure all parties at work are following the safe work procedures compliance.
• Assist Project Manager to liaise with relevant authority visiting / complain or feedback, if necessary.

Requirements

• At least a Professional certificate / Nitec or equivalent.
• Must possess at least an Advance Certificate in Workplace Safety and Health by BCA (Level B).
• At least 1 years of working experience in construction industry.
• A good team player with good communication skills and multi-tasking.
• Able to write and speak in English and Mandarin as need to liaise with Chinese Client and workers.
• Computer literate with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
• Physically Fit, healthy, hardworking and can work on weekends.
• Candidates with their own car or motorcycle will have an added advantage.
