Job Description Risk Planning Analyst supports risk planning and forecasting activities by providing forward‑looking insights across retail portfolios. The role focuses on credit cost planning during Budget, Full‑Year Forecast (FYF), and strategic planning exercises, ensuring risk considerations remain aligned with business strategy. 1) Support retail credit risk planning cycles, including Budget, Full-Year Forecast (FYF), and strategic plans. 2) Develop and maintain forward-looking risk forecasts for retail portfolios (eg. Mortgages, Cards, Personal Loans), covering delinquency, NPLs, ECL/EL, credit cost. 3) Analyse variances between actuals, plan, and forecast, identifying behavioural and portfolio‑specific drivers. Identify and monitor key business indicators related to credit performance and flowrates. 4) Work closely with Finance and Credit Retail stakeholders to align risk outlook with financial forecasts and planning assumptions. 5) Support management explanations on key drivers of credit cost volatility and risk outcomes. 6) Contribute to the enhancement of retail risk planning frameworks, methodologies, and reporting processes. 7) Drive efficiency through automation, standardisation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
