Responsibilities
- As a Compliance Specialist , you'll partner with leadership to ensure regulatory excellence, supporting audits, investigations, and policy development while helping uphold compliance across our organization.
- Remote : Open to remote applicants in the United States, except for the following states: Wyoming, Washington, North Dakota, California, New York, Illinois, and Ohio.
- Key job responsibilities.
- Partner with leaders and teams on regulatory compliance matters
- Support and manage Compliance Hotline activities
- Lead cross-functional efforts to resolve compliance issues
- Conduct compliance investigations, audits, and monitoring
- Assist with annual risk assessments and key risk areas
- Support follow-up on audit findings and corrective actions
- Research and interpret state and federal regulations
- Review and update policies and procedures
- Monitor compliance performance and track improvement plans
- Collaborate on privacy and HIPAA-related matters
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required, or 6 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
- Three to five years of experience in healthcare compliance and/or auditing and monitoring.
- Familiarity with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA).
