Job Description Personalised career progression plans to help you achieve your goals Join a business with an excellent safety record as well as robust systems and process's Competitive salary in line with experience + Acciona Bonus Incentive Scheme The Contracts Administrator supports the successful delivery of the project by managing contract documentation, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations, and facilitating communication between subcontractors and the project team. This role is responsible for preparing, reviewing, and administering contracts, managing variations and claims, and ensuring timely payments. The Project The project includes the design, construction, operation and maintenance of the plant with first production in 2028. Works include marine works and tunnels, seawater intake system, a seawater reverse osmosis desalination plant, groundwater system, drinking water storage and pump system, supported by civil, electrical and bulk earthworks. Key accountabilities for the position: Maintains detailed understanding of head contracts and subcontract templates, ensuring timely administration of notices Prepares and compiles contract documentation and work scopes in collaboration with project managers Coordinates subcontractor tendering, negotiation, recommendation, and contract execution Ensures subcontractors meet all pre-commencement requirements including insurance and statutory obligations Prepares and agrees on progress claims and extension of time claims with clients Manages tender evaluations and recommendations for subcontractor selection Processes subcontract variations and assesses extension of time claims Finalises claims and secures Contract Value Agreements for project completion Required Skills and Competencies Strong understanding of head contracts and subcontract templates Ability to manage contract documentation and ensure compliance with timing and procedural requirements Experience in preparing scopes of work and coordinating subcontractor tendering and negotiations Knowledge of subcontractor approval processes including insurance and statutory compliance Skilled in preparing and negotiating progress claims and extension of time claims Proficiency in tender evaluation and recommendation processes Ability to process subcontract variations and assess extension of time claims accurately Experience in finalising claims and securing Contract Value Agreements
