As a Sales Assistant based in Cumbernauld , you'll be responsible for: Predominantly assisting in the contracts office dealing with customer telephone calls and emails, raising quotations and processing purchase orders Serving customers face to face at the Trade Counter Building relationships with trade customers to guarantee future sales General warehouse duties including booking incoming stock onto the systems and putting it away and picking & packing customer orders which will involve manual handling of heavy items. This is a full-time, permanent role working 40 hours per week Monday to Thursday 08.00am - 5.00pm and Friday 08.00am - 4.00pm. And heres what wed like you to have: Plumbing or industry knowledge would be beneficial. Strong communication and confidence in interacting with both customers and suppliers A proactive team player whos willing to support all areas of the branch when required.
