Responsibilities
- As a Senior Structural Engineer - Ports & Marine based in Brisbane , you'll join Aurecon's global centre of excellence in Ports, Marine & Coastal , playing a key role in shaping and delivering projects across Australasian ports.
- Advise clients on complex engineering projects from concept to delivery
- Work with high-performing and successful multi-disciplinary teams to solve technical challenges
- Deliver high-quality advice that informs decisions
- Contribute to resilient and innovative engineering solutions
- Apply advanced analytics and optimisation to enhance performance
- With over 50 years of impact across Queensland and beyond, you'll be part of our broader Industrial services group , that embraces challenges, welcomes diverse ideas, and engineer solutions with people and outcomes in mind.
- You'll work within Australia's leading ports and marine team and contribute to some of the country's most significant port, maritime and shipyard projects, including:
- Major Defence Shipyard projects of national importance (including AUKUS shipyards News | Joint venture to design submarine yard in South Australia ).
Requirements
- Relevant engineering qualifications and 6+ years' experience with substantial experience in marine structural and port engineering
- Proven ability to shape, lead and deliver projects across the full lifecycle
- Strong track record of building trusted client relationships through high-quality delivery, with solid project and stakeholder management skills
- A proactive approach to learning and developing alongside industry-leading technical experts
- Ability to communicate complex marine and structural concepts clearly to clients, stakeholders and multidisciplinary teams
- Strong structural engineering foundations, with the capability to develop bespoke design solutions and mentor junior team members
- The ability to see the big picture and challenge assumptions
