We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Manager - Vendor Compliance & Sustainability to drive our global programs. The successful candidate will manage end-to-end audit arrangements, track factory social and environmental performance, and oversee critical product certification schemes. By developing targeted communications and training, investigating queries, and managing Corrective Action Plans (CAPs), you will enhance operational efficiency and support our stakeholders in meeting strict ethical standards. Here is what you need to know about this role: Audit and Remediation Oversight Lead the social and environmental compliance programs in accordance with customer requirements and company policy. Own Corrective Action Plans (CAPs): triage and prioritize high-risk findings, manage remediation timelines, review and validate evidence to ensure timely and complete closure. Escalate critical issues to senior leadership and coordinate cross‑functional remediation where required Program Monitoring & Product Certification Review audit reports, track KPIs, and analyze factory social and environmental performance to identify trends, risks and mitigation opportunities. Manage follow‑up activities for product certification schemes (e.g., BCI, FSC, GRS, EUDR), including supplier engagement and documentation to maintain certification integrity. Recommend program improvements and risk‑based audit strategies. Drive the automation of CSR systems and the development of digital tools to improve efficiency. Support projects on automation and deploy new digital tools and automation workflows; monitor uptake and effectiveness. Stakeholder Collaboration & Support Develop and deepen customer relationships across the U.S. and Europe, translating customer needs into operational actions and ensuring timely, high-quality delivery. Collaborate with in‑country compliance teams to investigate incidents, address complaints and queries, synthesize findings, and coordinate timely, customer‑aligned responses. Provide day-to-day compliance advice and operational support to internal teams, suppliers, and customers. Training & Development Develop and deliver communications, training and toolkits for merchandising teams, suppliers, and third parties on company and customer compliance and sustainability standards to foster a culture of responsibility. Monitor training completion and follow through to ensure effective implementation. Other responsibilities Perform other duties as assigned to support the broader Compliance & Sustainability agenda.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree Sustainability, Supply Chain, or Business preferred.
  • Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in responsible sourcing, sustainability, CSR, or supply chain/production operations-preferably within a trading office or manufacturing environment covering general hardgoods, home, and accessories.
  • Strong familiarity with social and environmental audit standards and platforms (e.g., SMETA/Sedex, Better Work, BSCI, SA8000, Higg, FEM) as well as supply-chain security frameworks.
  • Experience with certification schemes such as FSC, GRS, and familiarity with EUDR requirements.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, and comfortable utilizing data analytic tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Mandarin.
  • Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills, with proven experience working closely with in-country teams and third-party providers.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Able to work under pressure while remaining results-oriented, self-motivated, responsive, and detail-minded.
  • Willingness to travel as required and to attend evening calls to accommodate global time-zone differences.
