General Laborer

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent required
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Have the ability to read, understand and follow safety information, operating instructions and procedure manuals
• Excellent safety record and genuine concern for safety in the workplace
• Excellent attendance record
• Must be willing to work rotating shifts, nights, weekends and holidays
• Must be willing to work 12-hour shifts
• Must be flexible with work assignments; will assist other departments as needed and required
• 2 years of experience operating heavy equipment

Location: Ishpeming, MI Cleveland-Cliffs has immediate openings for General Laborers in the Mining Operations department at our Tilden Mine operation located in Ishpeming, Michigan. Summary of Responsibilities: Operate heavy equipment such as Front-End Loader, Bulldozer, Production Truck, and Grader Tend to crusher and conveyor systems Perform general laborer duties such as shoveling and cleaning Other duties as assigned
