Responsibilities

  • As a Patient Access Representative, you'll be the first point of contact for children and families entering the Emergency Department. Your role is essential in creating a positive first impression and ensuring the registration process is smooth and accurate. You will:

  • We're looking for someone who thrives in a fast‑paced, people‑focused environment and is committed to our mission of putting kids first. Successful candidates will have:
  • A high school diploma, GED, or HSED
  • At least 1 year of customer service experience
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and multitasking abilities
  • The ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Comfort working weekends, holidays, and occasional schedule or location changes
  • Proficiency with computers, Microsoft Windows, and basic word processing
  • Accurate and efficient data entry skills
  • The ability to demonstrate age‑appropriate awareness and sensitivity when interacting with patients and families
