V.I.E - Junior Software Engineer (C++)

About the role

As part of our continued growth, we are looking for a V.I.E Junior Software Engineer with C++ experience to join our team and contribute to ongoing client projects in Eindhoven As V.I.E Junior Software Engineer, your main tasks will include: support the development, testing, and maintenance of software applications using C++ collaborate with senior engineers, contribute to front-end and/or back-end development tasks, write clean and efficient code, fix bugs, and participate in code reviews learn best practices, improving technical skills, and gaining hands-on experience in building reliable and scalable software solutions Completed Bachelor's Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science and a relevant degree 1 to 2 years of experience in a similar role Proficient in [C++ (high-performance systems, embedded, real-time applications)] Fluent in English Strong problem-solving skills Knowledge on building scalable, maintainable systems Comfortable working in collaborative, agile teams and hybrid settings ALTEN's commitment Our three pillars of commitment to sustainable development ALTEN's approach to sustainable development and social responsibility is based on three fundamental pillars: People We celebrate the rich diversity of our employees, who represent more than 100 nationalities.
