Interior Designer

About the role

Our client is a Singapore-based design and build firm specialising in luxury landed homes. They are seeking an Interior Designer to join their expanding team in Singapore. The company delivers full turnkey solutions from concept to construction, with a strong focus on quality, attention to detail, and seamless project execution. Job Responsibilities Develop design concepts, space plans, and interior layouts for residential projects. Prepare design presentations, mood boards, drawings, and material selections. Produce detailed technical drawings, including floor plans, elevations, sections, shop drawings, and as-built drawings using AutoCAD and other design software. Prepare and maintain construction documentation in accordance with project requirements and industry standards. Create and update 3D models and renderings to support design development and client presentations. Coordinate with architects, consultants, contractors, suppliers, and project stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution. Assist with material, finish, furniture, and fixture selection and specification. Conduct site visits, site measurements, and inspections to ensure design intent and quality standards are achieved. Support project submissions and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and requirements. Maintain accurate project records, documentation, and drawing revisions.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
• 1-3 years of relevant experience in interior design, architecture, or a related field.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and familiarity with SketchUp, Revit, 3ds Max, Rhino, Blender, or similar design software.
• Strong technical drafting and space-planning skills.
• Good understanding of construction detailing, materials, and interior fit-out processes.
• Experience in residential interior design projects is preferred; experience with luxury residential projects will be an advantage.
• Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
