About the role

The Brokerage Accounting role responsible for brokerage transaction auditing, commission accounting, brokerage accounts payable administration, post-close adjustments, referrals, co-brokes, silent overrides, clawbacks, and exception management across assigned markets. Responsibilities

  • Own brokerage accounting operations for assigned markets.

  • Monitor automated Total Brokerage to Ramp payment workflows and investigate discrepancies.
  • Partner with Operations and market leadership to resolve transaction issues.
  • Support month-end close and audit readiness.
  • Document recurring exceptions and identify automation opportunities.

Requirements

  • 3+ years experience.
  • Real estate brokerage accounting experience preferred.
  • Experience resolving accounting exceptions.
  • Experience with Total Brokerage, Ramp, NetSuite, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft 365
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a remote environment.
  • Accuracy-first and audit-ready mindset.

Actual compensation within the pay range listed below will be decided based on factors including, but not limited to, skills, prior relevant experience, and specific work location.The national base pay range for this position within the United States is $70,000.00 - $80,000 USD.Your LocationThis position is remote eligible. The role may include occasional work at SERHANT. offices or attendance at offsites, as agreed to with your manager.
