Job Title: Terrain Park Hand Crew Level 3 Job Status: Seasonal Compensation and Benefits: Compensation: Proposed hiring rate of $18.50 to $20.40+, actual pay will be adjusted based on experience. Benefits: This is a seasonal position eligible for season pass for employees/dependents and privileges at several other resorts. Several discount programs (i.e. food & beverage, retail/rental, tickets, etc.) also available. Job Summary: The Hand Crew Level 3 position is a senior role within the terrain park crew, responsible for supporting daily park operations while taking on leadership, build, and layout responsibilities. This role assists with feature construction and installation, leads small builds and maintenance projects, and mentors Levels 1 and 2 crew members. Level 3 employees act as on-hill leaders, coordinating daily tasks when Leads or Supervisors are unavailable. They demonstrate advanced terrain park skills, proactive communication, and professionalism, ensuring the parks remain safe, high quality, and aligned with Woodward Copper's standards for guest experience and freestyle terrain excellence. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Includes all responsibilities of Levels 1 and 2, plus: Leads small feature builds and rebuilds with minimal supervision, including shaping, raking, packing, and final quality control. Supports Park layout design and implementation, assisting Leads with measuring, spacing, and setting features. Conducts advanced maintenance and minor repairs, including basic welding prep or finishing work under supervision. Acts as an on-hill leader and shift lead when Leads or Supervisors are unavailable, coordinating daily maintenance tasks among crew. Provides training for Level 1 and 2 crew members on feature maintenance standards, guest interactions, and safety protocols. Assists with feature transportation and installation using heavy equipment support, ensuring safe rigging and handling procedures. Plays an active role in event setup, build, maintenance, and teardown, understanding event build standards and timelines. Proactively identifies operational needs, potential hazards, or layout improvement opportunities and communicates them clearly to Leads and Managers. Demonstrates strong professionalism, leadership, and problem-solving, setting the standard for crew performance and guest engagement.
