Responsibilities
- Partner cross-functionally with internal teams including Pricing, Engineering, Customer Service, Operations, Procurement, and Plant Controllers to support standard costing processes and uphold pricing integrity.
- Process manufacturing facility requests to create new supply and inventory items and to maintain and update existing item attributes within master data systems to ensure data integrity.
- Conduct regular audits of item master data to identify and correct discrepancies, ensuring consistency and accuracy across comparable items.
- Collaborate with management to identify and implement process improvements that enhance accuracy and efficiency across specifications planning, accounting, and supporting operational processes.
- Support the Financial Planning & Analysis Manager with special projects throughout the annual budget process, year-end close, and financial rollover periods.
- Oversee updates and maintenance of the Commercial Specifications Plan by coordinating inputs across departments and ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Provide analytical support to drive profitable decision-making by gathering and interpreting data related to customer specifications patterns, product rationalization opportunities, and pricing optimization strategies.
- Validate revenue and standard costs to support monthly forecasting, annual budgeting, and financial reporting requirements.
- Education:
- Required: Bachelor's degree in accounting, Supply Chain, Finance, or a related business field; or equivalent combination of education and 5-7 years of relevant business experience.
Requirements
- Required: 1-3 years of experience in a supply chain or finance-related role. Proven analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Required:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel with advanced data analysis capabilities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks effectively, and manage competing deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail with ability to manage and audit large volumes of data.
- Analytical mindset with an interest in cost accounting, manufacturing systems, and continuous improvement.
- Preferred:
- Experience with Cognos TM1, Oracle ERP systems, Business Intelligence tools such as Power BI and Tableau, and Netstock.
