Responsibilities
- As an Advanced Practice Provider, Oncology , you will provide comprehensive, patient-centered care in collaboration with licensed physicians.
- Key responsibilities include:
- Obtain, document, and evaluate comprehensive patient health and developmental histories
- Perform and document advanced physical examinations
- Analyze clinical data, identify problems, and present findings
- Order and/or perform diagnostic and screening tests in collaboration with supervising physicians

- Provide clinical education or in-service training to staff as appropriate
- Assist in the education of students, residents, and interns when applicable
- Provide emergency care and initiate life-saving measures, including BLS/CPR and ACLS
- Deliver care at affiliated off-site locations, including hospitals
- Participate in the development of clinical policies and procedures as requested
- Perform other duties as assigned
- What We Expect From You
- Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree
- Successful completion of an accredited Physician Assistant program
- Current and unrestricted New Jersey license
- Required certifications, including BLS; ACLS may be required
- Reasoning Ability:
- Ability to solve practical problems and make sound clinical decisions
- Ability to interpret written, oral, diagrammatic, and schedule-based instructions
- Computer Skills:
- Proficiency with electronic medical records and clinical information systems
