Responsibilities

- Collaborate with Marketing, Partnerships, and Sales to continuously improve messaging, campaigns, and outbound playbooks.
- Act as a trusted first impression of Recharge and deliver an exceptional buyer experience from the very first interaction.
- Continuously experiment with new prospecting strategies, AI workflows, messaging, and sales tools to improve efficiency and performance.
Requirements
- Previous sales, customer-facing, or business development experience is a plus, but not required.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Confidence, resilience, and a willingness to pick up the phone, you're energized by outbound prospecting and embrace rejection as part of the process.
- Curiosity and comfort using AI tools (such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, or similar) to improve research, productivity, and personalization.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- A growth mindset with a desire to learn, experiment, and continuously improve.
- High energy, self-motivation, and a track record of meeting or exceeding goals.
- Experience with Salesforce, Outreach, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, or similar sales tools is a plus.

This is a highly outbound role focused on generating pipeline through strategic prospecting into ecommerce brands. You'll partner closely with Account Executives to identify opportunities, develop account strategies, and create meaningful conversations with prospective merchants. The best BDRs today don't just send emails or make calls - they combine curiosity, creativity, AI, and data to deliver personalized outreach at scale.
