Under direct supervision , t he Material Handler 1 operates forklift s or other mobile equipment to perform routine mov ing, staging, loading or unloading of materials , supplies or products within or near plant, yard, warehouse or work site. Primary Duties & Responsibilities * In addition to complying with all safety, environmental, quality, and core policies, and contributing to the company's Zero Harm and Zero Defects commitment, the following briefly describes the 3 to 6 primary activities (not all activities) that are regularly performed, and the approximate percentage of time annually devoted to each (equals 100%). Percent Transports raw materials, supplies, products and/or finished goods to and from storage or production lines and places them in designated area 8 0 % Actively participates in continuous improvement and corrective action activities 10% Completes all necessary paperwork and transactions, including scanning requirements 5 % Perform h ousekeeping , 5-S, and other duties as assigned 5% Key Measures Briefly list the areas in which this job is accountable for results. Required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as outlined in the role specific Job Safety Analysis Forklift, Combi-lift, Side-loader, or other mobile equipment Computers Scanners, tablets, printer s Oracle ERP H and tools including, but not limited to , nail gun, banding equipment, hammer, saw, etc. Education & Experience Qualifications List qualifications necessary to perform the duties and responsibilities listed above. Minim um : High School d iploma or e quivalent , or a ttain ACT WorkKeys Assessment at certified job profile skill level Preferred : 3+ month s of experience operating mobile equipment in a manufacturing or shipping environment Mobile equipment certification Skills & Competencies List additional attributes , including WITTS capabilities appropriate to role level, necessary to perform duties and responsibilities listed above.
