Engineering Manager

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Docker images and Helm charts for application deployment
• Ensure integration with third-party tools and providers, including: HashiCorp Vault
• Bitnami SealedSecrets
• Cert-manager and trust-manager
• Multus
• Design and implement CI/CD pipeline automation using Jenkins: Application and documentation builds
• Lab/environment deployments
• Automated regression testing
• Support Kubernetes-based application deployments and lifecycle management
• Collaborate with engineering teams to improve automation, deployment efficiency, and system reliability
• Job Requirements
• Strong functional knowledge of Linux (RHEL or equivalent)
• Proficiency in Bash scripting
• Experience with Python 3
• Solid understanding of Git version control
• Familiarity with Kubernetes concepts, including: Controller types and their usage
• Pod lifecycle and health checks (probes)
• Service types and networking behavior
• Persistent volumes and claims, especially in StatefulSets
• Working knowledge (or willingness to quickly learn) Helm 3+: Chart structure and subcharts
• Template customization and templating functions
• Deployment lifecycle (install, upgrade, hooks, etc.)

Requirements

• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
• Knowledge of: OpenSearch / Elasticsearch
• Apache Kafka
