  • ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
  • Administer and maintain Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM) infrastructure and associated site systems.
  • Support the installation, configuration, and maintenance of MECM environments, including cloud-hosted and hybrid deployments.
  • Assist with the implementation and support of MECM components, including Management Points, Distribution Points, Software Update Points, and Cloud Management Gateway (CMG).
  • Deploy and manage operating system deployment (OSD) task sequences and endpoint imaging solutions.
  • Package, test, and deploy applications using MECM.
  • Manage monthly patching activities and software updates through MECM and WSUS.
  • Monitor MECM health, troubleshoot client and server issues, and resolve deployment failures.
  • Support endpoint inventory, compliance reporting, and asset management activities.
  • Create and maintain PowerShell scripts to automate routine administration tasks.
  • Assist with MECM integration efforts involving Microsoft Intune and co-management solutions.
  • Support cybersecurity and compliance initiatives in accordance with federal policies and standards.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, procedures, and operational runbooks.
  • Provide Tier II/III support for MECM-related incidents and service requests.
  • EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 3+ years of experience administering MECM/SCCM in an enterprise environment.

We are seeking a MECM Engineer to support the deployment, administration, and maintenance of Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM) environments for a Federal Government customer. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience managing MECM infrastructure, supporting enterprise endpoint management operations, and assisting with the deployment and configuration of MECM in cloud or hybrid-cloud environments. The MECM Engineer will support software deployment, operating system deployment, patch management, endpoint compliance, and system modernization initiatives while ensuring adherence to federal security and operational requirements. Experience supporting the deployment or implementation of MECM infrastructure, including new environment builds. Experience with cloud-hosted or hybrid MECM environments, preferably within Microsoft Azure or Azure Government. Experience with software packaging, software deployment, and operating system deployment (OSD). Experience administering Windows Server and Active Directory environments. Working knowledge of WSUS and Windows patch management processes. Experience with PowerShell scripting and automation. Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
