About the role
JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY: As part of the newly establish Early Childhood Coun cil for Je fferson , Gilpin and Clear Creek Counties, we are seeking a collaborative and detail-oriented Early Childhood Quality Support Specialist to support early childhood quality improvement initiatives and provider navigation efforts. This position works closely with childcare providers, community partners, and internal staff to strengthen access to high-quality early learning services across Jefferson County. SCHEDULE: This position allows for a hybrid work schedule, both remote/community and in-office as determined by business needs . PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS IS A GRANT FUNDED POSITION DEPENDENT ON AVAILABLE FUNDS.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor's degree
- Experience: Three (3) years of work-related experience
- Note an equivalent combination of education and experience is acceptable
- Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Experience working in early childhood education, human services, program coordination, or provider support systems.
- Knowledge of Colorado Shines, Universal Preschool (UPK), PDIS, or other Colorado early childhood systems preferred.
- Strong organizational, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, spreadsheets, databases, and virtual meeting platforms.
- ADDITIONAL JOB INFORMATION:
- Criminal History and MVR Background Checks are required for every position.

- A valid Colorado driver's license is required for positions that drive on County Business in either a county or personal vehicle shall have a Colorado Driver's license within 30 days of hire or beginning to serve as an intern or volunteer .
