Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Required:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Electrical Journeyman Lineman certification and / or equivalent, titled experience
  • Minimum 3 years of field experience in linework, power distribution, or telecom
  • Ability to perform pole-top rescues, bucket work, and climbing demonstrations
  • Working knowledge of OSHA, NESC , and other applicable safety codes
  • Valid driver's license and insurable driving record (CDL Class A or B preferred)
  • Current or ability to obtain within 3-6 months: NCCER ICTP Certification (we'll cover the cost); OSHA 10-hour Certification; CPR Certification
  • Preferred:
  • Associate degree in Electrical Systems Technology or a related field
  • Experience teaching or mentoring in educational or apprenticeship settings

  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams)
  • Schedule
  • Standard Full-Time Schedule:
  • Monday - Thursday: 8:30 AM - 4:00 PM
  • Friday: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM
  • Work Environment & Physical Demands
  • Instruction delivered across classrooms, outdoor training yards, and labs
  • Exposure to outdoor elements , including weather, noise, and vibration
  • Ability to climb poles , lift up to 120 lbs , and demonstrate physical skills regularly
  • Visual acuity and comfort working at height are essential
