About the role
You will serve as a ELECTRONIC INDUSTRIAL CONTROLS MECHANIC in the NAVFACMIDLANT, FACILITIES SUSTAINMENT BRANCH of NAVFAC ENGINEERING CMD MID-ATLANTIC. Although a specific length of time and experience is not required for most trade and labor occupations, you must show through experience and training that you possess the quality level of knowledge and skill necessary to perform the duties of the position at the level for which you are applying. The Screen-out Element for this position is: 1) Demonstrates ability to operate and repair various HVAC and power distribution DDC systems; 2) Uses engineering schematics, knowledge of front-end software, computer generated graphics, database information and a wide array of sophisticated DDC programs to determine system operation; and 3) Demonstrates superior ability to perform full range of HVAC DDC related skills. Experienced in troubleshooting DDC control on HVAC related system, equipment, and components. Knowledgeable of various HVAC systems and functions.
