Job Title: Occupational Therapist - Reablement Team Location: Southampton Pay Rate: Up to £36.00 per hour (depending on experience) Liquid Personnel is seeking a qualified Occupational Therapist to provide short-term cover within the Reablement Team in Southampton. This is a fantastic opportunity to deliver high-quality, person-centred occupational therapy services to adults with care and support needs, supporting their independence and wellbeing in the community. You will play a key role in assessments, care planning, and interventions that enable individuals to live more independently, while working closely with colleagues across health and social care. What will your responsibilities be? Undertake occupational therapy assessments, care planning, and reviews to promote independence and daily living skills Advise, teach, and support individuals and carers in overcoming disability and maximising independence Recommend and provide equipment (standard and specialist) and advise on home adaptations Liaise with colleagues in health, social care, and partner agencies to ensure coordinated support Supervise and support OT Assistants and students as required Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with statutory requirements, professional standards, and Council policies Commit to safeguarding adults and uphold the Council's Equality Policy Qualifications & Experience: Diploma or BSc in Occupational Therapy HCPC Registration Experience in a health or social care community setting Ability to manage a demanding caseload, prioritising effectively Strong communication, assessment, and problem-solving skills Ability to travel within Southampton
