Join our team, and help us shape the future of anime! We are looking for a highly collaborative Senior People Business Partner (SPBP) to support our France & UK business leaders and teams. You will report into the Sr. Director, People Business Partnerships & EMEA. As a key member of the People Business Partnerships team, this role will partner closely with leaders and employees in our UK & France offices supporting day-to-day HR needs, driving engagement, and enabling the business to deliver impactful outcomes. We are looking for a Senior People Business Partner with experience working in highly matrixed organizations in a global company. You will be supporting scaling teams in a fast-growing environment where HR infrastructure is continually evolving. You move quickly from problem to solution, while ensuring enterprise HR alignment and remaining compliant with our policies and local employment laws in the UK and France. The ideal candidate brings a strong understanding of UK and French employment law and will ensure compliance with local employment laws and practices, has a data-informed mindset, a high tolerance for ambiguity, the ability to influence without authority, and helps leaders navigate complex people challenges while fostering a high-performing, inclusive culture. Core Areas of Responsibility Be a trusted People Partner and first point of contact for managers and employees, providing practical, timely guidance on HR-related matters while driving people initiatives that align with HR enterprise practices and standards. Provide day-to-day HR operational support, including onboarding/offboarding, leave management, and compliance with local employment laws and regulations (e.g., UK, France, and broader as applicable). Ensure HR processes are audit-ready and employee documentation is accurately maintained. Collaborate with centralized and cross-functional teams (e.g., Talent Acquisition, Payroll, Total Rewards, Talent Development, Employee Relations, IT, Finance) to ensure smooth execution of people solutions. Provide coaching and expertise to leaders across the organization Partner with leaders to reinforce inclusive and high-performing team environments Support the Sr. Director of People Business Partnerships with the evolution of people programs by gathering input, feedback, and business context from client groups Facilitate the flow of information and insights Champion company culture, values, and a strong sense of belonging across teams Identify opportunities to enhance the employee experience and drive engagement through About You 12+ years of experience as an HR Business Partner or in a related HR role BA/BS degree in Business Administration, or a related field and/or equivalent work experience. Experience working in global and matrixed organizations environments Experience with employment laws and regulations across UK and France required, other regions are a plus. Strong knowledge of core HR disciplines, including employee relations, talent acquisition, and learning & development preferred Demonstrated experience providing both strategic and operational HR support, including coaching leaders, supporting change management initiatives, and driving people programs that align with business objectives. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and influencing skills, with the ability to build trust and partner effectively with stakeholders at all levels. Proactive, solutions-oriented, and comfortable operating independently while navigating ambiguity in fast-paced, evolving environments. Hands-on experience managing HR operations, including onboarding/offboarding, employee lifecycle processes, and ensuring compliance with internal policies and external regulations. High level of discretion, integrity, and sound judgment in handling sensitive and confidential information. Collaborative mindset with the ability to work cross-functionally and contribute to a positive, high-performing team environment. Fluency in English required; French is a strong plus.
